Would you believe me if I told you I’ve never made homemade vegan bagels before? While it’s bee on my ‘to bake’ list for forever, I just never got around to the process of making onion bagels until this past weekend. While I’ve done the usual loaves of bread and make more than my fair share of homemade pizza crusts, I hadn’t quite tackled (more…)

I’ve been on the hunt for a quick and easy vegan dinner rolls recipe for the last year or so, ever since I made a small Thanksgiving dinner last year. I searched around for a while (like weeks) (more…)
If there’s one thing I know, it’s that when something works, to leave well enough alone. I have a few base recipes that are tried and true, such as my riff on pancakes which came from Cookie and Kate’s recipe and my favorite brownie recipe. The same goes for scones, which I’ve found are best made with a guiding hand from The Faux Martha and hardly ever changed, since they just work (more…)
