Let’s talk about chocolate. While some people don’t like chocolate (who are you, very sorry we can’t be friends), I am firmly planted in the ‘love it’ camp. Ever since I can remember, I’ve always gone for the full-on chocolate desserts while eating out or grabbing a dessert at a bakery. I know we are drawing nearer and nearer to Christmas (and there are cookies to come!), but I don’t want to forget about brunch! I always forget that the weekends should not only be filled with cookie baking, but brunch too! I’ve been throwing together this (more…)
I couldn’t resist one last vegan dessert before Thanksgiving! While we already hosted friends over the weekend, I’m always SO excited for the day. This year, my parents are coming to visit me and we are going to make a small meal, but I mostly love handling the dessert side of things. I’ve made a version of a vegan chocolate pecan pie in the past, but it had a more oat-based crust and I wanted to make a better version, (more…)
