We all like snacks, right? I don’t know about you, but snacks can be hard to keep in check and not turn into a whole meal (I’m looking at you potato chips). So when Vegan Cuts asked if I wanted to review one of their snack boxes, I was ALL in!All of the products were new to me, but a few I have heard of or seen, jut not tried yet. I actually loved the variety of the products in the box, ranging from teas to chips to a glass straw (my most used/favorite item in the box so far).
The first thing I opened straight out of the box were the Mediterranean Snacks Sea Salt Lentil Chips, because they were chips (duh) and I was intrigued by the lentil part of them. I liked them, but probably  wouldn’t search out for them on my own, simply because they weren’t enough of a perfect snack for me, but I liked trying different chips! Next up, I tore into the Nii Almond Chocolate Chip Bar. It was crazy good and I still have a half of it in my cabinet, but that isn’t going to last long at all. I would recommend these bars for traveling or a quick snack. The next day I tore into a couple of the breakfast goodies. The Vigilant Eats Maca Double Chocolate Superfood Cereal was a hands down winner in my box. I loved that the flavor was an espresso chocolate flavor and was the perfect blend of sweet, oat-y, and crunchy all at the same time. I would purchase this if I needed a quick breakfast or a traveling option for breakfast too, especially since the package is the bowl and all that is needed is hot water. I also drank the OatWorks Pomegranate Blueberry oat powered smoothie as well, which was a great mid-morning snack at work. I loved that it wasn’t chunky or anything, but was still really filling and flavorful. I usually eat lunch around 11am since I get up so early, but after having this during the mid-morning, I was able to hold off until 12:30pm (big deal in my book, I’m usually starving by 11).
Moving on the other products in my box, I had a glass straw, savory teas, protein powder, and a nut butter packet. The Simply Straws glass straw was my favorite by far out of the box, especially since it is something I can use over and over again. In true food blogger fashion, I was riding the paper straw train for the past year or so, but I don’t love that they are just thrown out and can get soggy really fast, so this glass straw was perfect. I’ve already used it 5 or so times and it seems to be durable and easy to clean, win win!
The Numi Tea savory teas were the hardest products to wrap my head around, it took me a while to really get into in the first place, so the idea of savory teas kind of freaks me out. Needless to say, I this one is something I’ll have to get used to, but I would be willing to try it again! The NuttZo nut butter packet is perfect for a peanut butter lover like myself, because I tend to eat nut butters straight off the spoon, I loved this packet! Finally, I have the MCT Lean Protein Powder left from the box. I tried a bit of this mixed with some water and was surprised by how much I liked it. I don’t usually seek out protein powders, because I picture those huge plastic bins of some mystery powder and that freaks me out, but I like that this powder uses pea protein, which is way less gross than whatever is in those other powders.
Overall, I would highly recommend Vegan Cuts Snack Box, I think it would be the perfect way to try a lot of new products and find out what other great vegan food companies are out there. I’m excited to possibly start subscribing to them soon, bring on the snacks!

Lentil chips sound very interesting. I guess you can make a chip out of everything these days! 😛
